The Date Club is collaborative project by Jessica Francis and Victoria Carran. They work alongside club members to investigate the performance and perception of romance through sculptural, social and archival projects.

Carran and Francis aim to provoke an emotionally reactive experience by creating social contexts in which romantic gestures can take place and providing space to foster relationships between strangers.

'Encounter' attempts to create an acute awareness of how we share experiences with those around us. The show means to encourage the audience to consider intimacy and relationships by altering the expected environment and employing guidelines for proximity.

We are also pleased to announce the launch of our first publication- 'ROM' includes writing from Hera Bird, Gabi Lardies, Zoe Crook, Samuel Carey, Drus Dryden, Brun Alen & others.
